DREAMCATCHER #3 SOLD

$11,500.00

47 x 67 inches framed
Photography collage, acrylic paint, texture mediums, crushed glass and resin on wood. Framed in black.

First patented in 1856, the cage crinoline imprisoned women in cages. Once used to create a silhouette that was far from nature, we are left questioning the barriers from the past still defining freedoms (or lack of) in the future. The butterfly is a metaphor for transformation and triumph of the spirit over the physical prison.
